New Items
Getting ready for today’s and tomorrow’s farmer’s markets, I felt inspired to photograph everything that I finished this past week. Some were made from scratch, some were finished from ongoing projects, and one (in the case of the octagonal tray), was repurposed from a months-old project that had stalled from a lack of creativity.
Starting at the top we have (moving clock-wise):
An epoxy/wood shavings bracelet
Various kitchen utensils made from small cedar branches pruned from a shrub in our front yard.
Meat cleaver made from an old 1/4” sawblade
Fire-pokers forged from an oversized U-bolt (oak handles that used to be handrail spindles in a previous life.
Hand chopper made from a dull mitre saw blade
Ulu forged from a rectangular piece of leaf spring
Small hardwood tray made of off-cuts from other projects
Octagonal hardwood serving tray made scraps from other projects
